BGV project

The Director of the Regional Development Agency of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Vedran Kružić, was a guest on Radio Gorski Kotar's show on the occasion of the nomination of the Agency's project for the most successful EU project in the field of contribution to entrepreneurship. Below we report the news as well as the entire interview conducted by editor-in-chief Barbara Renka.

Project Business goes viral, in which Prigoda is one of the project partners, it is among the finalists of this year's Competition for the best EU project, in the category Contribution to entrepreneurship. This is proof of the continuous quality of work, because last year they also had a project (Career Garden) that was among the three best EU projects. This year Prigoda worked on another project that also made it to the finals of the best EU project - "Revitalization of the Veli Lošinj Spa Center through Digital and Green Transition".

The competition for the best EU project is organized by Jutarnji list, the Croatian Association of Counties, the European Parliament Office in Croatia and the Župan.hr portal, under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds. The competition was launched with the aim of presenting successful projects financed by European funds and highlighting their contribution to the development of local and regional communities, the economy and the quality of life of citizens.

The Business goes viral project, worth €400.000, was jointly developed by six partners from Austria, Croatia and Italy. Its goal is to connect regional entrepreneurial and development potential with European experiences and knowledge, connect the digital potential of Generation Z with the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, and create new opportunities for youth employment and strengthen the competitiveness of the economy.

As part of the project, workshops were held in collaboration with the university, involving 100 companies and vocational schools, all in order to develop digital competencies.

In its work, RRA Prigoda often focuses on the education of young people, their inclusion in the modern labor market and connections with employers, and on the other hand, it points out to employers the advantages of employing young people who, with their knowledge and competences, can greatly help them in modern, digital business.
