Employees of the Regional Development Agency of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Nataša Kozlica, Dubravko Podnar and Petar Mamula, also coordinators for Gorski Kotar, participated in this year's 2026 Occupations Festival, which took place on September 10, 2026 in Slovenia. The event was organized at the Kočevje Sports Hall by the local Kočevje Entrepreneurial Incubator, as part of the professional orientation program for young people.
The goal of the festival was to bring together different organizations and employers in order to show young people first-hand what career opportunities are available to them and to make it easier for them to choose their future profession.
The meeting in Kočevje is a continuation of the excellent cross-border cooperation that the Regional Development Agency of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County has, including with the Business Incubator from Slovenia, primarily through joint projects within the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia 2021-2027 program. Through the exchange of experiences with the Slovenian partner, new project ideas have also been developed that the Regional Development Agency of PGŽ plans to launch in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County through the PRIGODA Changemakers program, which are aimed specifically at youth, employment and local community development in Gorski Kotar.
