Description of the project: During the three-year implementation of the project, 12 daily hospitals and daily surgery departments were reconstructed in all three localities of the Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka, and the construction works covered works on the area of 2,449.50 m2. The equipping covered by the project included the procurement of medical and non-medical equipment. The furnishing of individual clinics and institutes started after the completion of construction works. Daily hospitals and daily surgery departments are now furnished with the latest equipment in order to improve the quality of medical services provided.
All the facilities are reconstructed and equipped to the highest medical standards. The main objective of the project has been achieved with the completion of the works: the functioning of 12 daily hospitals and daily surgery departments, resulting in an increase in capacity, improvement of the availability and quality of medical services and greater satisfaction of patients.
